Keystage 2 - Gardens - Mughal plants

The Mughals ruled much of India between the 16th and 19th centuries. The Emperor Shah Jahan built the most famous Mughal monument, the Taj Mahal, in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj Mahal took over twenty years to build and is set in a large formal garden.
