Mango chutney recipe
Jehan Sultana
Another thing I'd really like to do is give you the recipe for the mango chutney, because I think, personally, pregnant women in England would really use this as well. So they get the mangoes, and the top bit of the mango, they'll just like take that off, and dry it up - so they'll leave it for at least about a month to dry in the heat. And then once that's done, they'll get some vegetable oil or butter or ghee. And then they'll put some carrots in it, they'll put green chillies in it, they'll put black pepper, salt to taste, and they'll put various herbs that they'd like to taste. And then they'll put the mangoes in it and they'll leave that aside for about a month. And all the ingredients, they'll just constantly mix it, every day, so that it all blends in. Then after a month, it's got that tangy taste in it, so that's what really gets a pregnant woman going for it, because of the tangy taste!
