Iraqi tea

Hello, my name is Kamran, I am from Iraq. I am going to talk about our traditional tea.
We use a special glass for drinking, we never use glasses - big glasses I mean - or mugs, and also we never use milk mixed with the tea. Just, we drink black tea. And some people, they like a lot of sugar. But if we speak in average, everyone drinks his tea or their tea with two spoons of sugar. And we don't use tea bags.
We bring a big pan or a special bowl for boiling the tea. We put it on the fire, we put in water, and we leave the water five, ten minutes until the water is boiling, and, after, we add the tea, which is not in any bag, it's just loose. So we leave five, ten minutes until it's diffused. After, we drink the tea mixed with sugar. And we use tea which comes from Asia, from Sri Lanka, from Pakistan, from China. So that's our traditional tea.
Some people while they're boiling the tea, they add some, we say hayl - in English it's cardamom - some people they like that, it gives flavour to the tea, and a nice smell as well.
In some places, the far North - they have a border with Iran, they use cloves - we say mekh. They use that and they mix with the tea which gives the different flavour as well.
