This market stall at the Devaraja market is selling colourful dyes for the festival of Holi. Sliced and coloured betelnut for chewing is also for sale on this stall. For chewing, sliced betelnut is often wrapped in paan leaves, from the betel pepper plant, Piper betle, with lime paste added. Betelnut is chewed like this as a stimulant.
