The most important segment recounts the life of Krishna in detail. He belonged to the Yadava dynasty ruling Brindavan, the eighth child of Vasudeva and Devaki, whose marriage ceremony is being performed in the picture. Incense is part of Indian rituals, ceremonies and devotions, used for thousands of years. One of the earliest references to incense comes from the Vedas or ancient Hindu texts. The incense was mostly composed from fragrant woods, resins, gums, herbs and roots drawn from India's vast forests. For instance, sandalwood paste was a popular ingredient. Bamboo grows all over India and is used extensively for making all kinds of structures, both temporary and permanent.
