Explore - Royal Pavilion, Brighton
This extravagent palace was built for King George IV. In 1815 he hired John Nash to create an Indian palace that would compliment the existing Indian-influenced horse stables. The interior is filled with a lavish Chinese decor. Adorned with gilded dragons, carved palm trees and imitation bamboo staircases, the Palace's unique style mixes Asian exoticism with English eccentricity.
