Displays show a variety of weapons used in war, tournament, self-defense and hunting in South Asia. A highlight of the Mughal Empire display is the largest armour in the collection; belonging to an elephant. Some of the other displays showcase European contact and the rare weapons of the South Indian hill tribes. The Royal Armouries holds the largest collection of Sikh arms and armour on display in the UK.
